Holiday wish drive

This holiday season we are proud to partner with Family Giving Tree, a charitable organization dedicated to inspiring underserved children and individuals throughout the Bay Area. For over 27 years, the Family Giving Tree has fulfilled more than 1.3 million specific holiday wishes and is looking to our group to continue their work. This year, Family Giving Tree has set a goal is to fulfill the holiday wishes of 80,000 local children.

Oakland Preschools

We are partnering this holiday season to help 22 Oakland preschools, some of which are part of the Oakland Unified School District.  These preschools operate on a shoestring budget, and have to make hard choices about what supplies to purchase.  Many of these preschools are located in neighborhoods which experience community violence, poverty and limited infrastructure.  Teachers in the classrooms often use their own limited resources to purchase supplies. The preschools we work with strive to build a supportive environment, with academic achievement. The teachers are grateful for all donations, so they can provide for the children they serve. 

REFUGEE FAMILES

We are proud to support a holiday giving campaign, which will help provide gifts for about 120+ newcomer refugee and low-income families in our community. 

Some of these families are newcomer refugees and immigrants from Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Africa and Latin America. These families are in need of gifts and essentials for their children. By participating, you will be helping to sponsor families by purchasing gifts from a family's wish list!
